How to Share Your Testimony

It’s a Christian’s nightmare.

You finally get the chance you’ve been praying for to share Jesus with someone and … you don’t know what to say.

“So how did that whole ‘Jesus thing’ start for you anyway?”

“Um. Well … I guess it started when I … It’s kind of hard to explain, really.”

You love Jesus. You’ve been looking forward to this moment.

But 10 seconds after the conversation ends, you beat yourself up because you forgot this and that and—oh, how about mentioning the cross and the change Jesus made in your life?

Forgot that, too.

But there’s a solution—and it only takes 10-20 minutes of your time.

Veteran homeschool mom and passionate Jesus lover Meredith Curtis has an easy-to-follow worksheet to help you flesh out your testimony.

The “Personal Testimony” worksheet will answer questions such as:

  • How much of the gospel should I share in my testimony?
  • Should I go into detail about my sinful past?
  • What if I don’t have a very “exciting” or “dramatic” story?
  • Should I be honest about struggles I have now, even after knowing Christ?

Meredith will help you not only recognize and detail the most important points of your salvation testimony, but also condense it to a shareable size.

The next time someone asks you how you met Jesus or what He means to you, your excitement won’t fizzle into frustration.

It will be a success worthy of a journal entry!
