Grant Maloy not only is a devoted husband to Althea, a father of three, and a Christian, but he also served as Seminole County Commissioner from 1996 to 2004. He ran on a platform to clean up Casselberry and pledged to serve for only eight years. In spite of opposition, Grant was true to his word, using grass-roots methods to eradicate much of the city’s moral filth. When his two terms were up, he stepped down, as he said he would.
With a passion for his community, Grant has served on various Seminole County boards such as Code Enforcement, Charter Review, and Parks and Recreation. He is also the former president of the local Chapter of Citizens Against Government Waste as well as current co-chair of the Center Right Coalition. This year, Grant is running for Seminole County Clerk of Circuit Court. He is endorsed by Maryanne Morse, Honorable Current Seminole Clerk of Circuit Court.
But Grant’s integrity goes beyond the political arena. An active member in his local church, he serves on its worship team and in youth and homeless ministries. As a small-business owner for 24 years, Grant has insight into how to start and run a business on your own.
